Katrín Káradóttir is the Programme Director in Fashion Design at the Department of Design and Architecture at the Iceland University of the Arts. Katrín studied tailoring in Reykjavik and fashion design in Paris.
Gustavo Defeo born in Argentina, has long experience in colour Science and Application. At age 19, he developed a spectrophotometric method for Leather dyes kinetics analysis. At 23, he gave his first conference at the 6º Congress of the International Colour Association (A.I.C.). At age 25, He became President of the Argentinean Colour Group, following training courses, visits and conferences in different institutions and with the best known Worldwide Colour Scientists.He attended institutions such as BAM Berlin Unten den Eichen, NCS Stockholm, Istituto Nazionale di Ottica, Arcetri, and Technical University of Budapest. His 1st research on Whiteness Psychophysics, presented in 7º AIC Congress in Budapest, was awarded at Northampton UK the Donald Burton Memorial Price. He organises Courses on Colour Science in different sectors:”Seminar on Colour for Food Industry” at the University of Pisa, Colour Science for Leather production at Polimoda, Florence and Scandicci. He is a member of UNI, Italian delegate at CEN (European Normative Institution), and Italian delegate at the ISO – IULTCS following Chemical and Physical norms for Leather industry.
